In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" mean Vine Yard Fitness. "You" means anyone who visits this website or contacts us through it.

What we collect
Information you give us directly
When you fill out the contact form on our website, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- The membership option you selected
- Any message you choose to write
Saved alongside your message are the IP address you sent it from and your browser's user agent string. We keep these to block automated abuse of the form, not to identify you.
We use this only to respond to your inquiry and to follow up about membership. We do not add you to a marketing list without your consent.
Information collected automatically
Our web host records standard server log information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and the time of your visit. This is used for security and to understand general traffic patterns.
This website stores one item in your browser's session storage, a marker named vyfIntro, so the opening animation plays only once per visit. It contains no personal information, is not a tracking cookie, and is erased when you close the tab.
Payment and membership information
We do not collect or store your payment information. When you click any "Join" button, you leave our website and complete your membership on a signup page hosted by Gym Insight, our membership management provider. Your name, address, payment card, membership agreement, and billing history are collected and held by Gym Insight under their own privacy policy, not ours.
We receive from Gym Insight only what we need to operate the gym: your membership status, your access credentials, and your contact details.
Third parties who receive your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers below, each of which handles data under its own policy:
- Gym Insight: membership signup, billing, member agreements, and 24/7 QR door access. Review their privacy policy at gyminsight.com/legal/privacy-policy.
- Google Maps: the map on our Visit section is embedded from Google. Loading our page sends your IP address to Google and may set Google cookies, whether or not you interact with the map.
- Google Fonts: our typefaces load from Google's servers, which receives your IP address.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): hosts this website, stores contact form submissions, keeps server logs, and delivers the notification email that tells us you got in touch. There is no third-party form service: the form posts to our own website, and your message is held in our own storage rather than passing through an outside provider.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of our members, staff, or property.
Social media
Our website links to our Instagram profile. Clicking that link takes you to Instagram, where Meta's privacy policy applies. We do not embed Instagram tracking code on this site.
How long we keep your information
Contact form inquiries are retained for 24 months and then deleted. Membership records are retained by Gym Insight for as long as your membership is active and for 3 years afterward, as required for tax and accounting purposes.
Your choices and rights
You may contact us at vineyardfitness908@gmail.com to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Request a correction to inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information, where we are not required to keep it
- Ask us to stop contacting you
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law, including the New Jersey Data Privacy Act. We will honor verified requests within the time required by applicable law.
To change or delete membership and billing details, you can also sign in to your Gym Insight member account directly.
Children
Vine Yard Fitness is an adults-only facility for members 18 and over. This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. Payment data is handled entirely by Gym Insight through their secure systems and never passes through this website. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be communicated to active members at the email address on file.
