Club Rules & Member Conduct

Effective date: August 26, 2026 · Last updated: August 26, 2026

The short version

These rules apply to everyone in the building. They sit alongside our Terms & Conditions, which govern your membership as an agreement; this page is the practical version — how the floor actually runs.

24/7 access and security

Round-the-clock access is the single thing most dependent on members looking after each other. Every rule below exists because the door is often the only thing between the building and someone who has not paid to be in it.

Letting someone in on your code is a termination-level breach. It is not a technicality. An unauthorized person in an unstaffed building at 3am is a risk carried by every other member, and we treat it accordingly.

Conduct

Equipment

Report damaged or unsafe equipment to us rather than working around it.

Attire, food, alcohol, smoking, and drugs

Photography and video

Filming your own set is fine. Filming the room is not.

Personal photography and video are permitted when they do not interfere with another person's workout, obstruct equipment or walkways, create a safety hazard, or unreasonably capture another person. Recording is prohibited in bathrooms, changing areas, sauna and recovery areas, and other private areas.

Commercial productions, extensive lighting, and obstructive filming require prior written permission. Vine Yard Fitness may require filming to stop.

Guests

Vine Yard Fitness does not provide complimentary guest access. A non-member must purchase a valid One-Day Pass or other authorized access before entering. Members may not admit guests using their own QR credential.

Storage and personal property

Any cubby or temporary storage area is for same-visit use only. Overnight storage is not permitted.

Members are responsible for their own belongings. Lost property may be held for 30 days and then donated, discarded, or otherwise disposed of.

Chalk

Liquid chalk is permitted when used responsibly. Loose powdered chalk is not permitted unless Vine Yard Fitness designates an area where it may be used.

Personal training and solicitation

Only trainers authorized by Vine Yard Fitness may provide paid personal training, coaching, or instruction on the premises. Unauthorized solicitation, sales, distribution of promotional material, and paid commercial activity are prohibited.

Sauna, cold plunge, and recovery amenities

Animals

Pets and emotional-support animals are not permitted inside the facility. Service animals are permitted as required by applicable law. Area-specific restrictions may apply where legally permitted for health or safety reasons.

Weapons and dangerous items

Weapons and dangerous items are prohibited on the premises to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Threatening display or use of any object as a weapon may result in immediate removal and termination.

Damage

Members may be held responsible, to the extent permitted by law and the membership agreement, for intentional or negligent damage caused by them or by a person they unlawfully admit. Deliberate misuse or damage may result in suspension or termination.

Enforcement

Depending on severity, violations may result in a warning, temporary suspension, removal, loss of access, or termination. Vine Yard Fitness may act immediately when conduct presents a safety, security, harassment, violence, fraud, unauthorized-entry, or property risk.

What happens to money already paid when we end a membership is covered in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Changes to these rules

We may reasonably modify equipment, amenities, operating procedures, and club rules as the gym develops. The effective date at the top of this page shows when these rules were last revised, and the version published here is the current one.
